Hartley to partner Gasly in Mexico, Kvyat dropped

For the second time in 2017, Daniil Kvyat has been dropped by the Toro Rosso squad. He will be replaced by Brendon Hartley.

Brendon partnered Kvyat on his F1 debut last weekend in Austin, as Kvyat made his return after previously making way for Pierre Gasly.

After a weekend back to the Super Formula (which was cancelled) for Pierre, he returns to Toro Rosso. However with a new team mate.

Kvyat finishef 10th in the American Grand prix, his third points finish of the season. Whereas Brendon finished a respectable 13th on his debut.

The team have not yet confirmed the line up for Brazil, but we will find out in due course.

I’m sure this will divide fans opinions, but will the decision pay off for Toro Rosso?
